Community members are invited to United Way California Capital Region’s fourth annual United in Purpose Gala on March 28 at 5 p.m. The event, which will take place at Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento, will raise funds for the local United Way’s work to ensure all families in the community can thrive. The evening will include a cocktail hour, dinner, inspirational program, fund a need, live auction, golden ticket raffle and more. For tickets and sponsorship opportunities: http://UWCCR.org/Gala.
“Each year, this gala reminds us of what’s possible when a community chooses hope over hesitation and purpose over inaction,” said Dr. Dawnté Early, president and CEO, United Way California Capital Region. “The generosity from this event fuels real change. Change that helps our children dream bigger, helps our families find stability and helps our region grow stronger. When we come together with intention and compassion, we create a future where every child and every family has the opportunity to thrive.”
The last three galas raised funds toward United Way’s 100th anniversary goal of raising $3 million to help 10,000 local children excel in school by the end of 2025, which met its goal. United Way will announce a new goal at this year’s gala.
